JOURNALIST FEDERATION WARNS ISRAEL ON VIOLENCE AGAINST JOURNALISTS
Cairo, 15 Rabiul Akhir 1434 H/25 February 2013 (MINA) – Federation of Arab Journalists (FAJ) asked international organizations and all freedom seekers contributing to stop the Israeli violations against Palestinian journalists.
In a statement, the federation demanded Israel to stop the violence against journalists. “It was part of the crimes against humanity and violating the laws of freedom of the press”.
The federation also called on the journalists who were in Palestine or in other conflict areas to immediately notify his fellow journalists in other countries in case of violations and arrests against him. It will be able to pressure Israel to stop the violence and release the journalist when he was arrested.
If Israel continues to commit violence against journalists, then it would be a boomerang for them in the future.

The director of Palestinian media watchdog, Mousa Rimawi Mada, said that Israel had detained Palestinian journalists for decades, at least 27 journalists have been detained Palestinians Israel in the past two years.
