Gaza, MINA – Israeli troops shot dead a 25-year-old Palestinian during clashes on eastern fringes of Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
The young man, Ahmad Omar Arafa, died after he was shot in the chest at the east of Al-Buraij camp, KUNA reported, citing Ashraf Al-Qudra, spokesman of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in a statement.
His martyrdom brings number of Palestinians who have lost their lives since Friday to 17. Israel is holding coprses of two slain activists.
Thousands of Palestinians staged broad demonstrations on Friday along Gaza’s demarcation lines, marking their struggle to return to the homeland.
