Gaza, MINA – Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out a limited ground incursion, firing live ammunition and artillery shells across multiple areas, demolishing homes and residential buildings, and targeting tents sheltering displaced families, according to Wafa.

In Gaza City, occupation forces detonated a booby-trapped robot in the eastern part of the city, coinciding with the demolition of several homes in the same area. Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity, while naval vessels opened machine-gun fire toward the city’s coastline, adding to the sense of siege and constant threat.

South of Khan Younis, occupation tanks opened fire, and military vehicles conducted a limited incursion at dawn into the Atatra area in the northwest of the Gaza Strip. That operation was accompanied by heavy gunfire, bulldozing activities, and a siege of tents housing displaced persons in the area. Residents reported that families were trapped inside their flimsy shelters as troops moved in, leaving them terrified and unable to flee.

The latest violations come amid growing frustration among Palestinians and humanitarian groups, who have repeatedly accused Israel of failing to uphold the terms of the ceasefire that took effect on October 11, 2025. Despite the truce, Israeli forces have continued near-daily operations, including airstrikes, shelling, and demolitions, often targeting civilian infrastructure and residential areas.

Since the ceasefire began, a total of 1,027 people have been killed, 3,280 injured, and 785 bodies have been recovered from the rubble. Many more remain unaccounted for, buried under destroyed buildings, as rescue teams struggle to reach them due to ongoing military activity.[]
