Israeli Forces Attack Jerusalem Governor’s Office

Jerusalem, MINA – Israeli forces attacked the Jerusalem Governor’s office in the West Bank on Sunday.

“Israeli forces attack the governor’s office in the city of Al-Ram, northeast of Jerusalem, and also rummage it,” a local resident told Anadolu Agency (AA).

He said Israeli soldiers attacked a number of employees in the office.

According to Palestinian medical sources, three people suffered from asphyxia which ia caused by tear gas canisters fired by Israeli forces.
Palestinian government strongly condemned that Israeli attack.

In a statement, government spokesman Yousef al-Mahmoud described the attack as a dangerous escalation and striking violation of all agreements and international law.

The spokesman asked the Israeli Government to be responsible for the effects of these attacks. However, there were no answer from the Israeli army about the report.

Last month, Israeli police arrested Governor Adnan Ghaith and released him two days later. Meawhile, last week, Ghaith also was briefly detained by Israeli forces. (T/Sj/RS5)
