Al-Quds, MINA – Scores of extremist Jewish settlers desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Sunday, conducting two separate tours of the holy site under tight restrictions on Muslim worshippers, according to the Palestinian Information Center.
At least 120 settlers entered the Mosque through the Maghariba Gate in the morning and toured its courtyards under police protection. During their visits, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged Temple Mount, and several of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions at the Mosque’s entrances and gates, preventing many Muslim worshippers from entering the holy site.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and afternoon, except on Fridays and Saturdays.[]
