West Bank, MINA — Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued their assault on the city of Tulkarem and its two refugee camps for the 310th consecutive day, including persistent demolition and bulldozing operations in both Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps. The months-long campaign also includes repeated military raids, mass arrests, and escalating settler violence, according to PIC.

Throughout the past month, Tulkarem governorate and its refugee camps have witnessed a sharp escalation by the IOF and settler militias, who carried out repeated incursions, widespread arrests, and extensive destruction of Palestinian property.

Israeli forces have deployed large reinforcements and expanded bulldozing operations, paving streets opened inside the Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps in what residents believe is an attempt to impose a new reality, dismantling the camps by gradually converting them into city suburbs and preventing any reconstruction of demolished homes. So far, around 1,440 homes have been destroyed.

In the Nur Shams camp, located east of Tulkarem, the assault has continued for the 13th consecutive week, with explosions and heavy gunfire reported during a new raid accompanied by military bulldozers. Families in the Maslakh neighborhood were forced to evacuate, while displaced children continue longing for their homes and schools from which they have been cut off for nearly ten months.

Settler violence has escalated as well. Settler militias repeatedly targeted Palestinian property in the towns of Beit Lid and Deir Sharaf, setting fire to facilities and trucks belonging to the Janaydi Company. Several shops and vehicles were also damaged.

More than 15 settler attacks were documented, with locals managing to repel four. Meanwhile, Israeli forces conducted 450 home raids as part of 143 incursions across the governorate. They also carried out three property confiscations, destroyed 26 properties, suppressed demonstrations, executed 94 shooting incidents, and imposed 88 restrictions at military checkpoints. The escalation resulted in 26 Palestinians injured and 46 arrested.

Public anger continues to rise across Tulkarem and its camps as daily raids persist, checkpoints tighten, and entrances to several towns remain sealed—conditions residents describe as collective punishment.

The continued aggression has displaced more than 5,000 families, over 25,000 people from Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps. More than 1,440 homes have been completely destroyed, with 2,573 partially damaged. Entrances to both camps remain blocked with earth mounds, leaving them nearly devoid of civilian life.
