Tehran, MINA – Iran has sent its response to a United States proposal aimed at ending the war, using Pakistan as a mediator, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
Iranian state television said Tehran’s response demands that any agreement must include ending the conflict “on all fronts, especially Lebanon.”
The developments come after US media reports claimed that President Donald Trump wants to end the war with Iran before his upcoming summit with the Chinese president.
Reuters reported, citing officials and diplomatic sources, that Washington and Tehran are approaching a “limited and temporary agreement” to halt hostilities.

Diplomatic activity in Islamabad has intensified in recent days as Pakistan continues to serve as a key communication channel between the two sides.
However, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Tehran is still studying the messages exchanged with Washington and has not yet reached a final conclusion. No official response has been formally delivered to Washington.
Iranian officials reiterated that sovereign issues remain non-negotiable. Tehran continues to reject any compromise on the security of the Strait of Hormuz and its uranium enrichment program, describing both as strategic “red lines.”[]
