Jakarta, MINA – Indonesia will again bring the Palestine issue to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States, in late September. The government emphasized that the issue is part of Indonesia’s commitment to peace and respect for international law.
Indonesia’s position is not only in the form of support for Palestine, but also in encouraging a resolution to the conflict based on international law, respect for sovereignty, protection of civilians, and the opening of humanitarian access.
Foreign Minister Sugiono will lead the Indonesian delegation at the High Level Week of the 81st UNGA on September 22–28, 2026. He is scheduled to attend around 22 agendas, including the general debate, high-level meetings, and a number of bilateral meetings with partner countries.
