Hamas Welcomes Egypt’s Statements On Reconciliation

Gaza, 13 Sha’ban 1437/20 May 2016 (MINA) – Hamas Movement welcomed on Tuesday the statements made by Egyptian authorities on Palestinian national reconciliation.

Spokesman for the group Sami Abu Zuhri said that his Movement “welcomes the Egyptian statements on Palestinian reconciliation, and emphasizes its readiness to deal with all the efforts to achieve reconciliation and restore national unity.” the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Egyptian president Abdulfattah Al-Sisi called on the Palestinian factions to reunite and achieve their reconciliation.

He adding that Egypt is willing to play a role that contributes in resolving the ongoing internal Palestinian split.(T/P008/R04)
