HAMAS URGES ISLAMIC UNITY TO FACE ZIONISM

          Kuala Lumpur, 1 Safar 1435 / 4 December 2013 (MINA) – Head of Hamas Political Bureau, Khaled Meshaal  urged all Islamic countries to be united in the fight against the Zionist entity – Israel, that has been occupying Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque for years.

         Khaled Meshaal disclosed this statement in front of thousands  students during his official visit to International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), Kuala Lumpur, on Wednesday (4/12), adding that his movement  does not interfere in any political affairs of counterpart countries such as Syria, Libya, Egypt, and etc.

        “As Muslims, we shall unite  to work and fight together because we are all one ummah (one people),”  he said in a general speech in the Islamic university, MINA’s correspondent in Kuala Lumpur reported.

           He goes on saying, for the sake of  united  struggle,  national reconciliation of  Hamas-Fatah could be restarted by awareness of all parties involved, including free election, equal rights, and establishment of united society.

           Moreover,  concerning Al-Aqsa Mosque, he stressed that the  holy place is not only  belong to Palestinians, but it’s  a precious Muslim Ummah heritage as it’s a first Qibla (prayer direction) of all Muslims in the world.

         “The Mosque is now in danger, Israel continues to establish hundreds of synagogues around Al-Aqsa complex and continues digging tunnels under the holy mosque complex,” he said.

The Real Enemy of the World

       During one-hour speech, the head of Hamas stressed that the real enemy of Palestine is the Zionist entity, that has been seizing the Palestinians lands, expelling and killing its inhabitants since they occupied the land. “Not only that but they also have been negating Palestinians basic rights, endangering the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian mosque and entire Muslim mosque as well as the first Qibla of Muslims!” he stated.

          Along with their illegal blockade of the Gaza Strip, he continued, the Zionist entity has killed muslim heroes in Palestine such as Sheikh Ahmad Yaseen, commander of Izzudin Qassam Brigades Al Ja’bari, Rantisi, and other freedom fighters.

          “The real terrorists and Muslims enemies today are the Zionist Israelis,” he said.(LK/P03/E1)
