HAMAS: NETANYAHU PULLING WOOL OVER EYES OF WORLD LEADERS ON AL-AQSA

Gaza, 15 Muharram 1436/28 October 2015 (MINA) – Hamas slammed the Israeli sacrilegious break-ins at Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, branding them proofs of Netanyahu’s persistent attempts to desecrate the site and impose on it a new fait accompli.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said in a press statement on Tuesday (28/10),“The ongoing Israeli break-ins at al-Aqsa bear out to the fact that Netanyahu is pulling the wool over the eyes of the world’s and region’s leaders,” The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

Abu Zuhri called on all pro-Netanyahu parties who backed his counterfeit statements on the situation at al-Aqsa Mosque to backtrack on such a serious mistake and take urgent steps to protect Palestinians and their sacred places of worship.

Earlier in the day, dozens of Israeli fanatics stormed the plazas of the al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy police escort, in what observers dubbed a preplanned move aimed at fanning the flames of an already-simmering tension rocking Occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank.(T/P008/R04)
