GCC Chief Condemns Attack on Palestine PM Convoy

Riyadh, MINA – The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani on Tuesday condemned strongly the bomb attack against the convoy of the Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah that took place earlier in the day in the Gaza Strip.

The attack wounded seriously some of Hamadallah’s companions.

Al-Zayani described the incident as a “cowardly act”, which runs counter to all moral and humanitarian principles and values, whishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, KUNA reprted, citing a press statement.

Meanwhile, Al-Zayani also deplored strongly the terrorist attack that targeted a security center in the Yemeni city of Aden that “killed and wounded scores of personnel.

He described the incident as a “horrific crime”, which contradicts all moral and humanitarian principles and values.

Al-Zayani expressed his denouncement of this “heinous” crime, which proves that terrorism is a dangerous scourge and must be eliminated through concerted efforts by international community.

He offered his sincere condolences to the victims’ families, and the Yemeni government and people, whishing a quick recovery to the injured. (T/RS5/RS1)
