Tel Aviv, MINA – At least five people were injured in a fresh wave of Iranian missile attacks targeting central Israel on Tuesday, according to Israeli media reports, as the regional conflict shows no signs of de-escalation, Anadolu Agency reports.
The daily Yedioth Ahronoth, citing Israel’s emergency service MDA, reported that the casualties occurred at two separate sites in central Israel. A woman in her 40s was moderately injured by a shockwave, while four others sustained light injuries from glass shrapnel and the effects of the blasts.
Media reports indicated that a building in the city of Bnei Brak was damaged by fragments from interceptor missiles. Shrapnel also fell in Ramat Gan following the launches from Iran, and vehicles caught fire in Rosh HaAyin as a result of the attacks.
The missile barrage triggered sirens across central Israel, warning residents of rocket and missile fire. The alerts were later extended to the Galilee region and the Haifa area in the northern part of the country.

The latest strikes come amid a dramatic escalation in tensions that began on Saturday when the US and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran. That offensive reportedly killed nearly 800 people, including the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched sustained drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Gulf countries that host US military assets.[]
