EU Condemns Lahore Terror Attack

Brussels, MINA – The EU condemned Tuesday Monday’s terrorist attack in the Pakistani city of Lahore in which 26 people were killed and over 50 were injured.

“The vibrancy of Pakistani society, its diversity, and the clear wish of the majority of the Pakistani people for peace, must not be endangered by the minority who oppose or seek to destroy it,” KUNA reported, citing the spokesperson for EU High Representative Federica Mogherini in a statement.

“The European Union stands alongside the country’s authorities and the people of Pakistan in their and our common fight against terrorism and extremism.
