Gaza, MINA – Eight citizens were martyred and others were injured following separate Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to local sources, as cited by the Palestine Information Center.
Local sources said that Israeli aircraft targeted a security checkpoint at dawn near Taiba Pharmacy in Block 9 of al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, killing at least seven civilians and injuring several others.
In another incident, three citizens were wounded after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering a displaced family in Bani Suheila town, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Another civilian was martyred and others were injured in a drone attack on a tent in the al-Masha’ilah area of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

A child also sustained a bullet injury in the leg when Israeli armored vehicles opened fire at civilians east of al-Bureij camp.
Meanwhile, Israeli gunboats opened fire into the sea near the coast of Khan Younis, amid intensive gunfire from tanks in central and eastern Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery shelling at dawn also targeted the al-Nadi area of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
In Gaza City, Israeli forces detonated civilian buildings east of the city, while tanks opened fire toward the eastern and northern areas.

Israeli tanks also launched artillery strikes on the eastern area of Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood.[]
