DOZENS PROTEST IN WASHINGTON AGAINST ROHINGYA TREATMENT

Washington, 1 Jumadil Awal 1435/2 Maret 2014 (MINA) – Dozens of demonstrators took to Naypidaw’s embassy in Washington to protest against the treatment of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

“They [the Myanmar government] are actually committing genocide against the Muslim population of Burma and the Rohingyas,” said Yusuf Iqbal, a member of the Myanmar Muslim Civil Rights Movement, as demonstrators gathered around him.

“They actually want the people to die in concentration camps, and this is a crime against humanity,” he added, Rohingya News Agency (RNA)
