Gaza, MINA – Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer across the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, gathering near the ruins of destroyed mosques and in open spaces close to displacement camps, according to the Palestinian Information Center.

“Takbir” chants for Eid al-Fitr reverberated across war-ravaged Gaza, rising above the vast devastation caused by the Israeli aggression.

Worshipers crowded into makeshift prayer areas set up atop rubble or beside destroyed mosques, raising their voices with Takbir (Allahu Akbar) to uphold Eid rituals despite dire conditions.

Meanwhile, grief shadowed the faces of many Gazans who had lost loved ones or homes in the war on the first day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
