Berlin, MINA – Demonstrators gathered in the German capital on Tuesday for a torchlight march expressing solidarity with Palestinians and protesting Israel’s ongoing military actions in the Gaza Strip.
The rally began at Hohenstaufen Square in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, with participants carrying lanterns and candles as they marched toward the Hallesches Tor subway station.
Protesters, many waving Palestinian flags, chanted slogans such as “Terrorist Israel” and “freedom for Palestine.” The demonstration also voiced criticism toward the German government for its support of Israel.
The march took place amid a conflict that has resulted in significant casualties and destruction in Gaza since October 2023.[]
