Gaza, MINA – Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has openly called for increased killings and the establishment of permanent Israeli settlements across the entire Gaza Strip.
He stated that “targeted killings must be carried out in Gaza” and advocated for 30 or 40 Palestinians to be killed every night. He also declared that all of Gaza should become “Israeli territory” filled with settlements throughout the area, while calling for Palestinians to be encouraged to leave and promising to “shake the world” to execute Palestinians, Al Mayadeen reported.
“In my vision, I see all of Gaza as ours, with settlements—not only in the Gush Katif area, but throughout Gaza. Encourage emigration as much as possible, return them to their home countries; then what about the terrorists? No emigration or anything, kill them one by one,” said Ben-Gvir.
Ben-Gvir has supported execution by hanging, repeatedly stating that Palestinians “do not deserve to live” and admitting he takes pleasure in seeing their conditions worsen, arguing that the death penalty is the only path to “justice.”

The statements represent a striking escalation in rhetoric from a senior Israeli minister, openly advocating for killing, execution, and permanent occupation of Gaza, labeling Palestinians as people who “do not deserve to live.” Such statements raise deep concerns under international human rights and humanitarian law, which protect the right to life and prohibit arbitrary killing, collective punishment, and forced displacement of civilian populations.[]
