Bahar: We are Going on Reconciliation Until Liberation and Return

Gaza, MINA – Ahmad Bahar, First Deputy Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, stressed the importance of continuing efforts for achieving the Palestinian reconciliation in order to reach liberation and the return of Palestinian refugees.

“We are moving forward towards the accomplishment of the reconciliation within a clear strategy aiming at liberating Palestine”, Bahar said during a ceremony on Monday for celebrating the first anniversary of naval police in Gaza.

He hailed the naval police and praised their role in protecting the sea borders along the Gaza shore and affirmed that the Interior Ministry moves forward despite the siege and lack of potentials.

Bahar ephasized that opening Rafah crossing based on 2005 Agreement is nationally rejected, referring to the Palestinian Authority’s intention to reactivate the agreement after taking over the crossings in Gaza.(R/R04/P2)
