ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES INVADE KHAN YOUNIS

       Gaza City, 27 Syawal 1434/3 September 2013 (MINA) – Local sources have reported that a number of armored Israeli military vehicles carried out, on Tuesday [3/9] a limited invasion into Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

       The sources said that the military vehicles came from the Kissufim Israeli military camp, across the border with Gaza.

       The vehicles advanced hundreds of meters into the area firing dozens of rounds of live ammunition; no clashes or injuries have been reported, IMEMC reported as monitored by (MINA) Mi’raj News Agency, Tuesday (3/9)

        On Monday, a number of military vehicles invaded an area, east of Gaza City, and Palestinian fighters managed to detonate an explosive charge in one of the armored military bulldozers.

        On Tuesday evening [August 20 2013], Israeli soldiers shot and injured two young Palestinian men east of Jabalia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

        On Tuesday evening [August 13, 2013], Palestinian medical sources have reported that three fishermen have been detained, and violently attacked by Israeli soldiers, in Palestinian territorial waters, resulting in moderate injuries.

        On Saturday at night [August 10 2013], a Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli military fire, while another Palestinian was shot and injured earlier in the day east of Gaza city.

      The body of the slain Palestinian, identified as Hussein Abdul-Hadi Awadallah, 30, was handed by Israel to the Palestinian side in Gaza. He is from An-Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza.

       Israeli carries out repeated limited invasions, and assaults, targeting different area in the coastal region, and also repeatedly opens fire at Palestinian fishing boats in Palestinian waters, in addition to kidnapping several detainees and confiscating their boats. (T/P012/E1)
