Israel Prevents Kenyan President From Visiting Ramallah
Tel-Aviv, 18 Jumadil Awal 1437/26 February 2016 (MINA) – Israeli authorities on Wednesday prevented Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta from visiting Ramallah and meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli media said.
In a statement, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said the request to visit Ramallah was filed at the last minute and there was no way to approve it, Worldbulletin quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta had arrived in Israel on Monday and held several meetings with Israeli officials, including Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. (T/P011/R07)
