Ankara, 16 Rabi’ul Awwal 1437/27 December 2015 (MINA) – Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has reiterated Turkey’s support for Syrian opposition forces ahead of UN-backed negotiations on the future of the war-torn country.
Davutoglu was speaking amid a meeting with the head of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces Khaled Khoja and former Syrian PM Riyad Farid Hijab in Ankara on Saturday (26/12), World Bulletin quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.
The Turkish premier expressed the country’s support for the Syrian opposition ahead of talks on resolutions to end the war recently adopted by the UN Security Council.
Khoja and Hijab expressed their gratitude for the Turkish people’s support for Syrians during the war. (T/P006/R03)
