ISRAELI CHECKPOINTS ERECTED IN AL-KHALIL

Al-Khalil, 4 Ramadhan 1436/21 June 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) erected Saturday make-shift checkpoints and raided a number of Palestinian towns near al-Khalil.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that a military checkpoint was erected near Kharsa town, while another was placed near Fawar refugee camp. A third checkpoint was erected at the entrance to Sair town, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

A number of Israeli military vehicles broke into different towns in al-Khalil since the early morning hours, the sources added.

Also in al-Khalil, Israeli forces arrested at dawn Saturday two Palestinians including a minor at a military checkpoint erected near Tel Rumida neighborhood in the Old City.
