Bomb blast reported at Egypt <a href=polling station" width="374" height="216" />Cairo, 29 Rajab 1435/28 Mei, 2014 (MINA) – An explosion occurred  (28/5) at Misr Jadidah, precisely in the Sharia ‘Hamam (about 25 kilos of Nasr city, Cairo), coincided with the second day election in order to choose the President of Egypt, but no casualties were reported.

Egypt Interior Minister, Mohammed Ibrahim, said that the military has been relegated to investigated this incident, MINA correspondent in Cairo reported.

After the incident occurred, Ibrahim said it will ensure that all polling stations will be stringent maintained to prevent further explosions. Not only that, the 2014 election was marked by unrest in some of the governorates of Egypt following anti-coup National Alliance calls for boycott elections they consider  illegitimate.

On the first day too, the riots  also took place between security forced with pro-Mursi demonstrators in Cairo. At least 12 demosntran arrested in the incident. Riots also occurred in Hadayek Quba, Cairo, where the candidate Hamden Sabbahi supporters clashed with security forces and burned police cars.

According to one of the protesters who declined to be named, riots Sabbahi supporters and security forces occurred because they consider unfair electoral system.
