Tel Aviv, MINA – The Russian Embassy in Israel has urged all Russian citizens to avoid travel to Israel and consider leaving the country through available routes as the security situation continues to deteriorate amid escalating regional tensions.

In an official statement, Russia’s diplomatic mission said security conditions in Israel and surrounding areas have continued to worsen as the confrontation between Iran and Israel intensifies, RT News reported on Tuesday.

Russian citizens currently in Israel have been advised to remain vigilant, follow instructions issued by local authorities, and avoid locations that could potentially become targets of attacks.

The embassy also recommended that Russian nationals postpone all non-essential travel to Israel until the situation stabilizes. For those wishing to leave the country, the embassy advised using land border crossings that remain operational to neighboring countries.

The advisory comes after a series of missile and drone exchanges between Iran and Israel in recent days heightened concerns over the possible expansion of the regional conflict.

Several international airlines have already suspended or rerouted flights to and from Israel due to security concerns.

In addition to Russia, several other countries have also issued travel advisories for their citizens. Governments across the West and Asia continue to monitor developments closely, while a number of embassies are preparing contingency measures to assist in the evacuation of their nationals should security conditions deteriorate further.

The warning issued by Russia also reflects growing international concern over the risk of a broader conflict in the Middle East. If tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate, the impact is expected not only to threaten regional security but also to disrupt international air travel, global trade, and regional economic stability.[]
