Gaza, MINA – At least 23 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Friday as Israeli forces intensified airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources, Palestine Information Center reported.
Fourteen people lost their lives when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential home in the Al-Tawam area, north of Gaza City. Another airstrike in Jabalia al-Nazla, also in northern Gaza, killed four Palestinians and left several others wounded.
Two displaced individuals were killed when Israeli forces attacked a tent shelter in Al-Shati refugee camp, located west of Gaza City. Meanwhile, a Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli troops in Rafah while waiting for humanitarian aid. Another fatality was reported in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza.
In the Al-Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza, additional casualties occurred after a residential house was hit in an Israeli strike. One more Palestinian died from wounds sustained in an earlier attack in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

Since October 2023, the ongoing Israeli military campaign has resulted in the deaths of over 64,700 Palestinians and has devastated the already-besieged Gaza Strip, which is now facing a famine. []
