Gaza, MINA – A Palestinian civilian was injured by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, amid ongoing ceasefire violations in different areas, according to the Palestine Information Center.

According to media sources, a citizen suffered a bullet injury when Israeli forces opened fire towards the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The wounded individual was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, though his condition remains unclear.

Israeli vehicles also opened fire towards the tents of displaced people south of the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, causing panic among families sheltering in the area. The northeastern part of Rafah also came under artillery shelling, while in central Gaza, Israeli tanks heavily fired north of al-Bureij camp, adding to the already volatile situation in the enclave.

The continued attacks come despite the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025, raising concerns about the viability of the truce and the safety of civilians in the besieged territory. Palestinian officials have repeatedly called on the international community to pressure Israel to honor its commitments and halt its ongoing violations.[]
