20,000 Sacrifice Meat Consignment Distributed in Mauritania and Senegal

Jeddah, 17 Safar 1438/17 November 2016 (MINA) – As many as 10,000 sacrifice meat consignment arrived Wedmesday in Nouakchott as part of the sacrifice meat collected during last year’s Hajj for distribution over the needy in the Islamic world, a program administered by Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB).

The consignment was received by a number of Mauritanian officials, Saudi embassy representatives and a representative of OIC.

A similar quantity also reached Dakar, Senegal yesterday.

According to the bank’s plan, a total of 712,734 sacrifice meat, being the harvest of pilgrims gifts during 1437 H. Hajj season, will be distributed over the needy in 23 countries in Asia and Africa. (T/R07/R01)
