US Students Establish Memorial for 34 Palestinians Victims of Israeli Attack

Washington, MINA – Students at Oberlin College in the United States (USA) set up a memorial for 34 Palestinians killed in an Israeli bombing of Gaza in early November.

Oberlin Students for Free Palestine, in collaboration with the Oberlin Jewish Voice for Peace, established a memorial to commemorate those were killed, thus MEMO reported on Monday.

An Israeli air strike in early November was aimed at killing Islamic Jihad leader in Gaza Bahaa Abu Al-Atta and his leader in Damascus Akram Al-Ajouri. Al-Atta was killed with his wife, while Al-Ajouri survived.

The attack resulted in continued Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip in the following days and resulted in the deaths of 34 unarmed Palestinians, including eight members of one family.

However, another Palestinian died due to injury bringing the death toll to 35.
