THAI MUSLIM SCHOLARS VISIT AL-FATAH ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN LAMPUNG

Bandar Lampung, 3 Rabi’ul Awwal 1436/25 December 2014 (MINA) – A number of ulema of Thailand Islamic Council, Pattani, southern Thailand, visited Al-Fatah Islamic boarding School in Muhajirun, Negararatu, Natar, Lampung on Dec. 23, 2014 with agenda establishing Islamic brotherhood.

Abdullah Abu Bakar on behalf of the group on Monday night said It was important to establish Islamic brotherhood, particularly between Indonesian and Thailand Muslims.

According to him, the Islamic brotherhood was a faith grace. a peak of Islamic brotherhood was a practice of the caliphate system as a manifestation of the Muslim unity.
“The glory of Islam will be easily achieved if Muslims read and study Al-Quran. With the Al-Qur’an, we can manage the generation to lead the world based on Islamic brotherhood,” he said.

Meanwhile Muhammad Ghazali bin Wan Yusof, Darul Furqan Islamic boarding School chairman at Narathiwat, Thailand in his preaching reminded Muslims to always give priority to the reading and studying Al-Qur’an.

Abdullah Abu Bakar and Ghazali bin Wan Yusof visited at Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School with Ahmad Kamae Waemusor, Muhammad bin Haji Awang, Anuar bin Husin, Mohd Rifqi bin Muyiddin and other groups.

The delegation visited Shuffah Al-Qur’an Abdullah Bin Mas’ud (SQABM), Ma’had Tahfidz Al-Quran Institute and Radio Al-Fatah studio. They also saw the construction of An-Nubuwwah mosque in Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School complex.

They gave donation for An-Nubuwwah mosque construction which is designed for preaching activities according Phophet Muhammad PBUH’s example. (L/P009/P3)
