Saudi King Orders US$200 Million Grant to Yemen’s Central Bank

 

 

Riyadh, MINA — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the provision of US$200 million to the Central Bank of Yemen to boost the country’s financial position, WAM reported.

The latest donation will contribute towards alleviating the economic burden of Yemenis and follows a previous $3 billion grant the Kingdom provided to the Central Bank of Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has affirmed its continued support of the Yemeni government in its efforts to restore security and stability. (T/RS5/RS1)
