Depok, MINA – Director of Education for Religious Schools and Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Ahmad Zayadi has said santris can fight hoaxes and accusations of Muslims as terrorists through a literacy culture.

“It is time we cultivate the literacy to fight the hoaxes and accusations as terrorists directed against Muslims,” ​​he told Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) on the sidelines of Santri Day celebrations organized by the Santri Writer community in Depok, south of Jakata, on Saturday (28/10 ).

Zayadi asserted, in the current millenial age, the youth must change the civilization of muscles by writing. “We have to fight thoughts with thoughts as well as writing with writing” he said.
