President Lukashenka Offers Creating Joint Venture in Indonesia

Minsk, 21 Rajab 1437/29 April 2016 (MINA) – Belarus is ready to develop ties with Indonesia both in military and technical spheres, and civil spheres of the economy, BelTA reports.

The offer was conveyed by Belarusian President Aliaksandr Lukashenka during a meeting with Ryamizard Ryacudu, Defence Minister of Indonesia in Minks on Thursday.

The ruler stressed there were no topics banned for discussion between two countries. Belarus is ready to develop ties with Indonesia both in military and technical spheres, and civil spheres of the economy, BelTA reports.

“Things of great importance both for Belarus and Indonesia are as follows: we can create joint ventures in Indonesia to produce and sell goods to other countries in the region,” the ruler said.

Lukashenka also stated that he would like to renew his invitation to the President of Indonesia to visit Belarus, during which the parties would be able to define the strategy for further relations between states in the foreseeable future.

In turn, the Minister of Defence of Indonesia Ryamizard Ryacudu thanked Aliaksandr Lukashenka for a warm welcome of the delegation and added that the results of his visit would be reported to the President of Indonesia.

“I will surely deliver him your invitation,” Ryamizard Ryacudu added.

On April 28-30 the military delegation of Indonesia is in Minsk. It is planned to negotiate with the management of the State Military Committee and the Defence Ministry of Belarus.

The foreign guests will also visit the central control post of the Air Forces and Air Defence Forces of Belarus, Minsk plant of Wheeled Tactors and 558th aircraft repair plant.  (T/R07/R01)
