Ramallah, MINA – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to shed much light on the issue of Jerusalem when he addresses a UN Security Council (UNSC) session on February 20, a presidential spokesman said Saturday.

The address will be a message to the entire world that justice, peace and land would be the only key to a safe and stable Middle East and a prosperous and terror-free world, Abu Rudaina was quoted by Palestinian News Agency WAFA as saying.

A fresh stage of struggle has commenced, mainly aiming at protecting and safeguarding Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, he added.

However, he maintained, the current critical stage of Palestinian struggle requires clear-cut and unequivocal Palestinian and Arab stances in the face of looming risks, he noted.
