Palestine Qualifies for AFC Asian Cup 2019

Hebron, MINA – Palestine qualified on Tuesday evening for the AFC Asian Cup 2019 Final, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates, after beating Bhutan 10-0 in Group D soccer match played in the West Bank city of Hebron.

According to WAFA, Palestine occupied the top position in the group with 12 points that qualified it for the finals. Bhutan ended at the bottom with zero points.

With Oman beating the Maldives 3-1 in the group’s other match on Tuesday, it also sealed a seat to the finals with nine points.

This the second time the Palestinian national team, al-Fidaee, makes it to the Asian Cup Final. (T/RS5/RS1)
