Minister Malki Invites Indonesians to Support Palestine Through Social Media

Jakarta, MINA – Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki has  invited the Indonesian people to support the liberation of Al Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian independence through several methods  and one of them is through social media.

He made the call when speaking at a public lecture held by the Strategic Study School and the Global Salemba Campus of the University of Indonesia with the theme “Solidarity Week for Palestine” on Monday (15/10).

“We don’t want Indonesian men or women to fight physically to come to Palestine. But actually, you have powerful weapons that use your social media to support for the Palestinians, “explained Malki.

According to him, support through social media will be more effective because it can help the Palestinian people to get the sympathy and support of international, at least in the digital realm. So that Palestinians can continue fighting for Palestinian independence from the Zionist Israeli colony.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation is not only through land, sea, and air but through digital media to influence the international community by hiding their crimes.

Riad Malki explained that many countries provide funding for Palestinian refugees, but “it will be more effective by visiting Palestine for two or three days and praying at Al Aqsa Mosque because in addition to providing motivation to the community there can also directly provide assistance in the economic sector, “he said.

Indonesian government holds the week of solidarity for Palestine with various activities such as Fun Walk With Palestine was highly appreciated by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs because activities like this could strengthen the government and the Palestinians to fight to defend their homeland.

“We were involved in a fun walk with thousands of Indonesian people in Jakarta yesterday, that support has been more than enough and hopes to be held in other cities,” he added.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi at the site of the inauguration of Palestine Walk, in the city of Bandung on Saturday (10/13) said that the activities of the Palestine Solidarity Week had been designed for a long time.
