King of Sweden Congratulates Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on Success of Hajj

Riyadh, MINA – King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, who is also honorary chairman of the World Scout Foundation, has extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the success of this Hajj season.

The King of Sweden also thanked the Saudi Scouts for the great efforts provided to the pilgrims.

In a message received by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association from Director of International Scout Fund John Quinn, he conveyed greetings of the King of Sweden to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided support for millions of Muslims who performed Hajj.

“The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has personally supported the program of the Messengers of Peace. We are proud of the camps of public services in Hajj in the Kingdom in addition to the Saudi Scouts’ efforts in the holy sites under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince,” John said.

Meanwhile, from Cairo it was reported that the same congratulations were conveyed by Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Solami, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, to the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Speaker of Arab Parliament pointed out that this success was made due to great efforts exerted by the relevant sectors for the service of pilgrims who performed their Hajj rituals in ease and comfort. (T/RS5/RS10
