JAMA’AH MUSLIMIN (HIZBULLAH) DECIDES ONE SHAWWAL FRIDAY

Jakarta, 29 Ramadan 1436/16 July 2015 (MINA) – Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) as the Muslims unity forum based in Jakarta, Indonesia decided the Eid al-Fitr 1st Shawwal 1436 on a Friday, July 17, 2015.

Imaamul Muslimin KH Yakhsyallah Mansur, MA Said the decision of 1st Syawwal based on the new moon that has been seen by Muslims in some regions of Indonesia. One of them is Shamsuddin whom he saw the new moon on Thursday afternoon 17:58 to 18:00 pm at Selatip Beach, Tangerang, Banten province.

Shamsuddin stated was sworn in front of Hisab Council and Rukyat (DHR) chief KH Abu Muchtar Marsa’i, witnessed by H. Idris and H.Sakuri, SH, then the news presented to the assembly.

Other reports from, Mohammad Ghufran Surabaya (East Java province) said the moon was also seen in Gresik district approximately 2 minutes long with telescope.

In a session hold in Ministry of Religious Affairs, the new moon was also be seen at several places in Indonesia, Those are at Pulau Seribu, Lamongan and Bojonegoro. While at the other places, they could not see the new moon due to overcast cloud.

Meanwhile, Imaam Yakhsyallah Mansur expressed his gratitude for celebrating Eid on the same day.”It marks the unity of Muslims in the world,” he said.

Jamaah Muslimin (Hizbullah) is a forum for Muslim unity which applied khilafah ala minhajin nubuwah (caliphate based on prophethood way) since August 20, 1953 (10 Dzulhijjah 1372). This is not an organization, party, unions and other forms of political institution, but it is a form of Islamic leadership hallmark. (L / P4/R03)
