ISRAELI ARMY CARRIES OUT LIMITED INCURSION INTO GAZA

Gaza, 6 Rabi’ul Awwal 1437/17 December 2015 (MINA) – The Israeli occupation army on Thursday morning (17/12) carried out a small-scale incursion into a southern area of the Gaza Strip.

A field observer told Quds Press that four military bulldozers and two armored vehicles infiltrated into the east of Khan Younis district, south of Gaza and embarked on bulldozing a plot of land, palinfo reported.

He added that the Israeli army deployed several snipers along the eastern border of Khan Younis during the incursion.

An explosive device was detonated at an Israeli military patrol in the same area yesterday, but there was no injured soldiers in the explosion, according to Israeli claims.

In a separate incident, Palestinian fishermen miraculously survived when Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire today morning at their boats off the northern coast of Gaza.(T/P008//R04)
