Indonesia’s Mayora Group Exports 1,000 Containers of Its Products to Russia

Jakarta, MINA – The companies from Indonesia that engaged in the consumer goods sector, Mayora Group successfully managed to export its products around 1,000 containers in 2018.

“We hope that the success of penetrating the export market to Russia can inspire and inspire confidence, pride as Indonesia,” said President Director Mayora Group Andre Atmadja, at the “BANGGA SEBAGAI INDONESIA” press conference at Mayora Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday ( 6/2).

On the other hand, this success certainly came from the support of the government, both from the Indonesian and Russian Governments.

At the press conference, Indonesian Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita also asked Mayora to open a factory in Russia after its products to be accepted in the Russian market.

“The construction of the factory is in line with the government’s efforts to encourage exports of manufactured products, so that Indonesia’s trade balance is not only depending on commodity exports, such as crude palm oil and mining products,” he said.

Meanwhile, this year Mayora targets exports to the Russian market up to 2,000 containers or grow double digits from the previous year.

Andre said this proved that products with brands from Indonesia are not inferior products, but can compete in the global market and even become market leaders.

According to Andre, Russia is a potential market for Mayora, because it is one country that has a high population and a good level of economic growth.
