Indonesian Pilgrims Start Paying Off Hajj Fee

Jakarta, (MINA) – Hajj pilgrims from Indonesia began to pay the hajj fee in 2018.

“The repayment fee for the first phase will commence from April 16 to May 4, 2018,” said the Director of Hajj Service Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Ahda Barori, in Jakarta, Friday.

“According to Ahda, the first period of repayment is for the pilgrims who have registered the Hajj in year 2017 which were postponed for technical reasons and has been 18 years old or already married.

The quota of Indonesian pilgrims this year amounts to 221 thousands. This number consists of 204 thousand quota of regular pilgrims and 17 thousand quota of special pilgrims.

Ahda hoped regular pilgrims can take advantage of the time available to immediately pay off the hajj fee according to the departures of each province.

If there are still remaining the quota in first period because someone who cannot leave for some reasons, it will be opened the second stage of repayment, from 16 to 25 May 2018. (T/RS2/P2)
