Bogor, 26 Sha’ban 1435/24 June, 2014 (MINA) – The former Indonesian  Minister of Youth and Sports, Adhyaksa Dault  compared the condition of Muslims  today as Haj pilgrims who tried in various ways to kiss the Black Stone (Hajr Aswad) by elbowing each other.

“We often say, the believers are brothers, but in reality it is only visible in mosques. At the time of the obligatory prayers we can come together, shoulder meet shoulders, feet meet feet, but as soon as we finish prayer by pronouncing ““Peace be upon you and may Allah blessings be upon you all” (greeting after prayer) , we are directly competing each other to get rid of, “said Adhyaksa in front of tens of thousands of Muslim during an Islamic event in Bogor, Sunday.

Adhyaksa  who  is now a coach of Al-Azhar’s Pencak Silat (art of traditional fighting in Indonesia) told his experience. “When Umrah, one of his staff permits to kiss the Black Stone. After elbowing here and there, he was finally able to kiss the Black Stone,” he said.

“I tell him, whether  you know when you’re struggling to kiss the Black Stone there, how many people were hurt because of you?   Such was the condition of Muslims today. They are elbowing each other yet they call their God,”said Adhyaksa.

” The Prophet said, it is not part of my people who envy and make war of the same muslims. The reality is that we wear western political systems. We no longer do modernization but westernization, “he said.
