Indonesian Fighter Yordan Among Challengers of WBA Lightweight Champion

Jakarta, MINA — Indonesian fighter Daud Cino Yordan is among the challengers of WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lamachenko of Ukraine, despite his rank having recently down, Xinhua reported.

Yordan said that he is now the fourth challenger of Lamachenko along with Jorge Lineres of Veneuzeula, Anthony Crolla of the United Kingdom, Evens Piere of Haiti and Emiliano Marsili of Italy.

Yordan’s rank fell to fourth in the lightweight class of the WBA after being defeated by Anthony Crolla on November 10th at the Manchester Arena.

“My world ranking has actually ratcheted down, but it is not a problem because I am still among the world’s top five fighter. I am included in the list of the challengers,” Yordan said.
