Indonesia Pans to Purchase Assault Rifles from Ukrainian “Ukroboronprom”
Jakarta, MINA — Monday the representatives of the industrial company “Ukroboronprom” signed an agreement on the extension of the military and technical cooperation with Indonesia, 112 UA reported, citing the press service of the company.
“The state enterprise “Ukrinmash”, which is a part of the company, held the meeting with the command of Indonesian defensive departments during which Indonesia stated about its intensions to purchase a batch of the assault rifles from Ukraine and expressed the interest in the Ukrainian radio detection and ranging, including counter-battery, air assets of the electronic warfare and drones,” the message said.

One more department of the state company “Ukroboronprom”, “Ukrspetsexport” company has concluded a memorandum with an enterprise with Indonesia, in which the issue of the cooperation in the promotion of the armored personnel carriers at the markets of South-East Asian region was raised.
Also, the meeting of the commander of the Academy of the Armed Forces of Indonesia during which the sides discussed the prospects of the localization of the production of the armored personnel carriers and anti-tank missile complexes at the territory of Indonesia.

On November 1-4, the air defense units of Ground Forces and anti-aircraft missile troops of Ukrainian Navy held combat shelling from air defense systems, which were restored and thoroughly repaired at enterprises belonging to Ukroboronprom, association of multi-product enterprises in various sectors of the defense industry of Ukraine (T/RS5/RS1)
