In Gaza Border a Children’s Playground is Opened

Gaza, MINA – The Great Return of March Committee opens a park in the eastern city of Gaza in an effort to encourage residents to use the area near the Gaza border.

The park, which is referred to as the “Return Park” includes an area of ​​playgrounds for children. Planned to be made a soccer field and volleyball field.

“The Israeli occupation killed lives in the buffer zone, so we will revive these lands by encouraging people to visit without fear of being killed,” Ibrahim Musallam, Media Coordinator for the committee, MEMO reported, Monday 14.

The park, which is more than 700 meters from the border, was established in an area considered “not alive” as a result of the Israeli occupation violence in the area.

“This place was originally used for garbage collection, but from now on it will be a pleasant place. We are willing to revive all border areas from Rafah to Beit Hanoun to benefit from this large space, “he said.

The “Return Park” is the first of a series of projects in five regions along the Gaza-Israel border.

While Head of the Supreme Commission on Great Return of March action Khaled Al-Batsh said, this proves that the peace march will continue until the goal is reached.

“Football and volleyball fields are also being prepared in an effort to increase peace projects that deny Israeli propaganda that the Palestinians in the area are rioters,” he said.
