House Expects King Salman’s Visit to Give Positive Impact to Indonesia

Jakarta, 2 Jumadil Akhir 1438/1 March 2017 (MINA) – Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives Agus Hermanto said that the visit of the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud should be utilized as possible by the Indonesian government.

The man better known by his nickname Aher said  the arrival of the Saudi ruler to this country is a historic visit after the last visit of the King of Saudi Arabia that took place in 1970 when King Faisal bin Abdulaziz arrived in Indonesia 47 years ago.

In a meeting with King Salman later, Ahem expressed the hope that the Indonesian government will revisit the issues of the two countries that seemed to begin to disappear.

“Certainly in the next meeting, we hope there will be talks are truly beneficial for both countries. We expect additional quota of hajj pilgrims, the acceleration of compensation for victims of a collapsed crane that is long overdue and other issues,” he said..

For talks between the two countries in specific, Aher was reluctant to make a comment. “That’s later. Media can certainly get the information, “he said.

According to the plan, King Salman will visit the Parliament House in Senayan on Thursday (2/3) at 11:00 until 11:30 pm and then deliver a speech for 10 minutes.(L/R04/RS05)
