Gaza, MINA – Refugee Affairs Department of Hamas Movement on Wednesday condemned the US administration’s reduction of funding to the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and said it aims at liquidating the Palestinian Question.

Head of the department, Esam Udwan, said this shortage in the UNRWA’s budget constitutes an introduction to putting an end to the work of the agency which accordingly means ending the issue of the Palestinian refugees.

Udwan opined that such measure is aimed at pushing the Palestinian Authority to return back to negotiations and forcing the Palestinians to accept the solutions offered by the US which are biased to Israel.

He warned that this move could lead to long term consequences at the level of health and education services offered by UNRWA which might lead to absolute suspension of all UNRWA’s services.
