Ramallah, 13 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/3 February 2015 (MINA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Sunday the Israeli military’s shooting and killing of a Palestinian youngster in the village of Burin, south of Nablus, Saturday night.

Saturday night, Israeli soldiers opened fire at a group of Palestinian youngsters in Burin, killing one of them with live bullets, Wafa Palestinian News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said Ahmad Ibrahim Najjar, 19, was killed after two live bullets penetrated his neck and his mandible jawbone. The army claimed Najjar was throwing stones at Israeli vehicles. The army prevented the access of ambulance crews for hours.

The Foreign Ministry considered the killing to be part of a deliberate policy against the unarmed Palestinian people, calling for the Israeli crimes “not to go unpunished.”

The Ministry condemned the failure of the international community to hold the Israeli war criminals accountable; yesterday, the Israeli military police acquitted the Israeli army from being responsible for the Rafah massacre of August 1, 2014, in which the army killed no less than 150 Palestinians.(T/R05/R03)
