Egypt Releases 7 Palestinian Pilgrims

Gaza, 19 Muharram 1438/20 October 2016 (MINA) – The Egyptian authorities released Wednesday evening seven Palestinian pilgrims and returned them to Gaza via Rafah border crossing.

The seven pilgrims reached the crossing in very good health condition after one-month detention in Egypt, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported.

The pilgrims were arrested in Cairo airport shortly after their arrival from Saudi Arabia without any known reasons.(T/P008/R07)
